Some dimples are cute. Others... not so much. Let’s get rid of the ones you don’t want with Cellfina, the only FDA-cleared minimally invasive, one-time procedure that is clinically proven to improve the appearance of cellulite for 5 years! That’s right, we said 5 years. But how does it work? Your body has bands of connective tissue woven in the fat throughout the buttocks and thighs that pull skin down and create dimples. Cellfina snips those bands and relieves the dimpling just like that! This is a minimally invasive procedure with very little downtime and can be performed under local anesthesia. Results can be seen as soon as 2-4 weeks after treatment! And the best part is that we treat the root of the problem with this procedure, meaning you will see results that last. Goodbye cellulite!

Regardless of the amount of dieting and exercise you do, there is simply one area that just won't shed fat! The "double chin"!We can fix that with Kybella - the only FDA approved injectable treatment that permanently reduces fat under the chin. With virtually no downtime and recovery, no incisions or scars, Kybella can break up that stubborn fat. The fat cells are targeted, absorbed and eliminated by the body, meaning the fat is gone forever! It’s time to get rid of that double chin and show off your refined jawline!

Cellulite and crepey skin got you down? Heat it with Venus Freeze™ for the body! With no downtime, this nonsurgical anti-aging treatment helps to shrink fat cells, tighten skin, and improve the appearance of crepey skin and cellulite! This treatment aims to build collagen, giving you a more youthful, supple appearance. The treatment involves using a combination of Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields. This combination helps to heat under the surface of the skin, causing your body to produce collagen and elastin fibers resulting in smoother, tighter, overall younger looking skin! Can you say time machine? To transform your skin, we recommend 6 treatments, one week apart, and to maintain your new body we recommend coming back quarterly, depending on your skin’s condition.

Saggy skin no more! Our Body Smooth treatment is the Holy Grail when it comes to fighting skin laxity - and get this, that means it treats cellulite and wrinkles as well as sagging! Radiofrequency heat is used to shrink existing collagen causing your body to create new collagen. This is a painless procedure with no downtime that feels like a hot massage, sign me up! This treatment, purchased as a series, can target a number of areas including the chest, abdomen, legs, buttocks, arms, knees, hips, and back. Results last about a year, but maintenance treatments may be used at 9-12 months to prolong results.

An FDA-approved, non-surgical body contouring treatment, Emsculpt creates muscle definition using electromagnetic field technology to stimulate forced muscle contractions. In some areas, as muscle grows, fat shrinks, too. In just one 30 minute session, your muscles will contract about 20,000 times - talk about a work out! The best part is there is absolutely no downtime to this treatment. Lactic acid, which is the component that causes post work-out soreness, is drained from the muscle during this process leaving muscles refreshed rather than fatigued. This treatment can also be used to heal from injuries and speed up recovery times by increased strength in muscle tissue.

As the only FDA approved nonsurgical, non-invasive technology to help reduce body fat, Coolsculpting uses controlled cooling to freeze stubborn fat cells that are resistant to diet and exercise. Once frozen, the body will naturally process and permanently eliminate the dead cells 8-12 weeks later. In the area treated, fat will decrease by approximately 20-25%. Immediately following a treatment, feel free to go about your day as usual as you will not experience any downtime. With this technology we can treat multiple areas simultaneously including the abdomen, thighs, flanks, upper arms, chin, and more.

WHEN WILL FECHNER MD PLASTIC SURGERY & MEDICAL SPA OPEN?

Fechner MD will adhere to all local, state, and government mandates. We expect to cautiously resume medical spa and injectable treatments during Phase 2 of the Massachusetts phased reopening. We are awaiting a definitive date from Governor Baker. Cosmetic surgery is expected to resume during Phase 3 of Governor Baker’s plan. We ask for your patience and understanding as our staff is working diligently to reschedule all surgeries and procedures affected by our closure. Please understand that in order to open and adhere to Massachusetts guidelines, we will need to limit the number of staff and patients we have in our building and extend the time between patient appointments in order to sanitize rooms. This means we will have fewer available openings for procedures. In order to maximize our provider appointments, we will continue to hold consultations virtually rather than in person, with a few exceptions (body contouring, Instalift, vein treatments).
