It entails the application of a cream mask in our office and an at-home skin care regimen. The application of the mask is painless and causes little to no irritation of the skin. On the following 3-4 days you may experience mild irritation similar to that of a sunburn.
The MelaBrite/Melanage MD peel is compounded freshly at the time of your visit to ensure the potency and reliability of the product. The mask is applied during your appointment and then removed by you after specific length of time determined by your skin type. After leaving our office with the mask on your face, you are responsible for following a strict at-home care regimen that will be explained to you. It is critical that you follow the instructions closely which involves the application of several products following the mask removal.
